A sleek, playful museum in Dubai featuring portraits of other sovereigns and objects that once belonged to them.

Inaugurated on 2 December 2016, this museum was built on the very site where the decree that gave birth to the UAE was signed. The museum explains to the Emirati pilgrim or the curious visitor how the charisma of Sheikh Rashid al Maktoum and Sheikh Zayed al Nayhan were decisive in federating the small emirates. We also discover the portraits of the other sovereigns as well as the objects that belonged to them. A guide can also show you the buildings of the time and tell you the history of the creation of their country. Museology refined and very playful.

Open every day from 10 am to 8 pm. From AED 33.10 per person including entrance to Al Shindagha Museum. Free for disabled people and children under 5 years old.
