Sculpture erected following the 2001 terrorist attacks, evoking freedom of worship and respect for different cultures and religions.
"Tolerance" is the word composed by the nine bronze letters of this sculpture made by French sculptor Guy Ferrer in reaction to the attacks of September 11, 2001. This statue is proudly displayed in front of the office of the new president of the United Arab Emirates. A message of peace and benevolence sent to all inhabitants and visitors of Abu Dhabi to clearly explain the vision of this emirate: freedom of worship, respect of different cultures and religions.
