As any true camper knows, camping is a fantastic way to discover a country and a culture. In the Faroe Islands, there are no public wilderness areas or communal areas, and wild camping is not permitted. Nor are overnight stays in motorhomes allowed along roads, rest areas or coastlines. Many campsites are reserved for tents. So welcome to Tórshavn's small municipal campsite with sea views. Bikers, backpackers, motorhomes, families... Chalets for rent.
