Chas. E. Vinhandel was founded in 1921 by Charles E. Pedersen. Originally a completely traditional delicatessen, it has since specialized as a wine shop, offering a wide range of wines and spirits, as well as selling delicacies such as chocolate, fruit juices, specialty beers and many other culinary nuggets.
