One of the biggest discos in Denmark! Minimum age for the disco and the six bars: 23 years old! No age limit, however, for the many rock, jazz or pop concerts, or DJ performances. Very popular. Train was founded by Chris Anker-Petersen, in 1998, with a clear vision: "bring rock back to Aarhus". And it worked! The place has quickly become Aarhus' main stage with a large number of national and international artists on the program. A local music scene that has become one of the country's most prominent venues.

The history of the place begins in 1973, when Eskil Holten, musician and restaurateur, opens his restaurant in this old building of the XVIIIth century where clogs were made! In an intimate atmosphere, Fatter Eskil offers numerous weekly concerts and jam sessions, amounting to about 300 to 400 concerts per year. With room for only 150 guests, the live experience is very special, you are close to the musicians. Late night concerts and sometimes DJ's in this temple of the blues to end your night in Aarhus.

Very beautiful place, built in 1982 by the architects Kjaer and Richter, with a huge glass façade of 2 000 m². Inside this "House of Music", several concert and theatre halls; but also a restaurant, a café, an exhibition gallery... Don't hesitate to enter, there is always something going on, even in the hall! Outside there is a sculpture park with works by Danish artists such as Gudrun Steen-Andersen, Ejler Bille from CoBrA and Anker Hoffman. Nice view of the House of Music and the ARos museum in front of it.

A friendly place that puts culture in the spotlight and THE place to go out at night. Numerous rock, salsa, world music, reggae concerts... Relaxed atmosphere. You can also enjoy a simple dish, a salad or a sandwich (made with fresh and organic products) while listening to a local band or a stand-up artist. The menu changes regularly. A new address since 2019 in Folkeoplysningen Hus, a place of life and association. After 32 intense years of meetings and emotions, the team said goodbye to Mejlgade 53.

Loulou is a large cocktail bar located on the river bank. The menu offers a large choice, the team is nice and the atmosphere is festive. The terrace is heated and you are served on barbecues. You will see groups of colleagues celebrating the end of the week with a drink. This is the traditional Fredag's bar, which is very popular in companies and universities. They are often considered a must for integration into society. The perfect place to have a good time!
