A little away from the main pedestrian street of Roskilde, in an inner courtyard where the shaded terrace unfolds, an address for lovers of meat or brasserie type dishes (Caesar salad, mushroom omelette...). At the Rib House, two rooms welcome you with a pleasant fireplace on the first floor, installed under a superb bleached wood frame, surrounded by old photos that tell the story of the city's past. A warm place, an impeccable and fast service, copious plates. Excellent value for money recommended by Le Futé.

European-style food in this Viking-style trattoria. Ideally located on the waterfront, between the Viking Ship Sheds and Museum and the Youth Hostel. A very nice room with high ceilings, where you can have lunch and dinner in a bright setting, behind the huge windows overlooking the fjord. The terrace is just as pleasant. On the menu: oysters, ceviche, bacala montecado, Norwegian lobster, tartar with French fries, gnocchi... Enough to satisfy everyone with tastes that recall the south.

While enjoying a magical view of the fjord, savor dishes prepared with fresh local products. A bistronomic cuisine that will delight you. The Easter menu had us salivating: herring with currants and sour cream, herring with mustard and baked shallots accompanied by marinated rhubarb followed by a creamy egg salad with roasted cauliflower and spring onions and smoked cod roe rillettes with buckwheat emulsion. All accompanied by sourdough bread... and local beers (pop up store on site!)

In the heart of Roskilde in one of the oldest streets. The most popular restaurant in town. Intimate with 35 seats in the evening. You can eat Danish specialties with French and Spanish inspiration and high gastronomy. The plates are like works of art and the combinations are inventive. Reservations are essential. There is also a beautiful courtyard used throughout the summer. Danish ingredients, preferably local and seasonal, and the menu is based on 11 small dishes of the same size and price.
