A barrel king, high hats, a kiss from the queen, all in style: Mardi gras in Dragor, it's very nice!
Store Magleby's Shrove Days festivities are well worth a visit: with fanfare, horsemen in embroidered jackets and top hats ride through the village. They tour the village farms and offer each family a song to drink. Once the whole troupe is warmed up, a tournament is held in the main street. The challenge is to knock down barrels suspended above the street. The winner, the "King of the Barrel", receives the envied kiss of the "Queen of the Barrel".
