We are here on the edges of the Roskilde fjord, this one 275 km long becomes narrower at this place, allowing a bridge to span it easily. Frederikssund is known for its annual Viking games, but also for the museum of JF Willumsen, Danish painter associated with symbolism and expressionism. The hilly nature offers beautiful landscapes covered with woods and fields. The landscape is superb while passing by Skibby. You can also visit the island of Oro which is in the middle of the fjord.Orientation: The city is very small, a small pedestrian center crossed by a long street that leads to the Fjord and passes near the main museum.
