Museum occupying a former hospital for sailors, retracing the city's history through a model, reconstructions...

Occupying the former hospital for "foreign, poor and sick seafarers, for rest and something, help and comfort", the building was built by the Carmelite Brothers in the 16th century. Don't hesitate to visit this museum which traces the history of the town, including a model of Helsingør in 1801. In addition to the treasures found in the town and the objects donated to the museum by former inhabitants, you will see reconstructions in period costume!
