People come here with their families for picnics or walks, jogging, rollerblading or cycling across the alleys, and yet 250,000 Copenhaguans are buried here. The living have taken a taste of the peace and quiet of this very vast place, 20 hectares in the heart of the city! A place that also attracts tourists because several illustrious figures are buried here: Søren Kierkegaard, H. C. Andersen (their graves are signposted) or the physicist Niels Bohr (under a huge concrete dove).

Un cimetière immense à l'ambiance paisible et joyeuse malgré tout. En effet, vous verrez passer des familles avec leurs poussettes, des enfants en vélos au milieu des allées de tombes.
C'est ici que repose l'écrivain Andersen, sous une tombe assez sobre.
