August is rainbow-colored at CPH because it's Gay Pride, a truly national event for all.

The Danish Gay Pride takes place every year in August. This colorful and political festival, entirely free, takes over the city center, the town hall square and Stroget. Start of the parade at Frederiksberg Rådhus. The biggest day of Copenhagen Pride is the second Saturday. It is always a national event with many business and political actors participating.
