Pink Pavilion, a childhood home of St. Thérèse that evokes the great grace of Christmas through the smile of the Virgin
It was in this elegant pink pavilion that little Thérèse Martin grew up, surrounded by her father and four sisters, until she entered the Carmelite convent at the age of 15. Time has erased nothing of the memory, and every room still breathes the presence of the Saint: the kitchen fireplace evokes the great grace of Christmas 1886, the room where she was healed by the Virgin’s smile on Sunday, May 13, 1883... Donations from visitors help maintain the house and garden.

Un lieu émouvant
Aller au Buissonnets, c'est vivre un peu plus près de la petite Thérèse...C'est très émouvant, et forcément un moment un peu court...Très bonne visite, avec un accueil prévenant, fin et cultivé...Merci !
We visited this house on August 22nd, 2009 and we found it very well maintained, as well as the garden. Recordings in each room, as well as a warm welcome of nuns filled with enthusiasm us. I find this place religious less austere than many others. I recommend this visit that takes about an hour with all guests LISIEUX.
