Chapelle de la Châsse, housing almost all of Saint Thérèse’s relics, which are locked in a casket underneath
The chapel is the one in which St. Theresa lived, although it has undergone successive modifications over the years. In the Chapelle de la Châsse, a few bones are inserted in the recumbent statue of the saint on her deathbed, but almost all the relics are locked in a casket below. Above: the statue of the Virgin Mary. She who, on 13th May 1883, is said to have cured little Thérèse with her smile in her room at Les Buissonnets.
