18 km west of Rădăuţi, the small village of Sucevița is home to one of the region's most beautiful monasteries. Don't hesitate to go up to the hill opposite, where you'll be able to enjoy a breathtaking view. Signposted footpaths lead to the monasteries of Solca (17 km), Putna (18 km), Moldovița (25 km) and Humor (40 km). The tourist information center is just opposite the monastery (daily 10 a.m.-4.30 p.m., +40 230 417 102.) Numerous maxitaxis serve the village, including those linking Rădăuţi and Câmpulung Moldovenesc.
