On the road to Bucharest, the old mansion (conac) of Goleşti, a large family of boyars, deserves a stop. Built in 1640, it has an interesting traditional architecture with oriental influences. Inside, family life is reconstituted. You will also find an exhibition of history and popular art, a remarkable 17th century church (Sfânta Treime), Turkish baths dating back to 1807, unique in Romania, and an open-air wine museum covering 12 hectares, which bears witness to the local activity linked to orchards and vineyards.
