Caru' cu Bere. The name of this establishment means in Romanian "the beer tank". This neo-Gothic building, the work of the architect Siegfried Kofczinski, dates from 1879. It houses a brewery which, at the end of the 19th and beginning of the 20th century, was the meeting place for literary circles. The interior is also neo-Gothic, with its omnipresent woodwork reminiscent of a brewery on the other side of the Rhine, its stained glass windows and coats of arms. A remarkable place that deserves a stop. Don't forget to visit the superb cellar in the basement.

Brasserie curu cu bière
En plein centre de la veille ville, une des plus anciennes brasserie de la ville. Ambiance toute feutrée du début du siècle, bonne carte présentée.

Ce restaurant est une institution à Bucarest! Nous y avons mangé le midi car le soir, à moins de réserver, ce n'est pas possible d'y trouver une place!
L'endroit est magnifique et les plats copieux et très bons. Les prix y sont plus que raisonnables. A ne pas manquer pour goûter aux plats traditionnels roumains !
