The town of Paju, south of Panmunjeom, is the town with the most spots related to the DMZ and the Korean War. But for a few years now, it has made it a point of honour to develop the culture of the imagination through its districts and various museums. Certainly in order to counterbalance the heavy and cumbersome atmosphere of the DMZ. Paju is composed of mountainous reliefs in the east and is crossed by the Imjin and Han rivers. Its proximity to the capital means that you don't have to spend a night there and in any case few establishments are really worth it. Take bus 2200 from Hapjeong Station (in Seoul, 45 minutes drive).
