The most representative building of the period, today an important and popular market in the city

Inaugurated in 1933, it is one of the most representative buildings of the architecture of the time, built by Francisco de Paula Ramos de Azevedo, the architect of the Pinacoteca and the Municipal Theatre. Its colourful stained glass windows depict agricultural scenes. It is still today an important market of the city. In this popular and endearing place, you can taste the most famous Brazilian specialties, such as mortadella sandwiches. It is always a pleasure to walk around.

Marché à touriste. On nous a fait tester tous les fruits possibles, c'était top !
