The main village on the peninsula is Puerto Pirámides. This small seaside resort is located 25 km after the entrance to the reserve. From the open sea it is easy to understand why it is called Puerto Pirámides: the cliff is in the shape of a triangle. If your program allows it, it is worth spending at least one night there. The atmosphere is calm, relaxed, there are good small restaurants, a few hotels in all categories and you will have the privilege to observe the sea lions alone. At the end of the day, the small village empties itself of the crowd of tourists who have come for the day and the silence begins again: a feeling of ultimate disconnection which will be accompanied by beautiful walks along the shore.
