78 km southwest of Tan-Tan, on the southern road to Smara. Accessible after 4 km of track, the caves are a place of prayer and devotion for the locals. The wadi Aabar flows nearby. An old historical site, probably a military barracks at the time, with old buildings built in the orange terracotta of the Sahara finds its place further downstream. The complex, though sparsely furnished, is in a state of preservation acceptable enough to warrant a detour. If reservation is not necessary, it is better to take a guide or to inquire beforehand about the possibility of going there by asking on the way.
