A long gallery with a white and yellow marble floor, featuring 180 works by Italian, Flemish and Dutch masters.

Frederick II, a great lover of art, had the Bildergalerie built by Johann Bühring. In a long, richly decorated gallery, 180 works by Italian, Flemish and Dutch masters are exhibited. The magnificent white and yellow marble floor is a delight to walk on and admire numerous copies of famous works. There are also a few paintings by masters such as Van Dyck, Rubens and the most famous of them: The Incredulity of St Thomas of Caravaggio.
