A castle in the style of an English cottage in Potsdam, famous for hosting the Potsdam Conference on July 17, 1945.

It was the summer residence of the last Hohenzollern Crown Prince and his wife Cecilia of Mecklenburg-Schwerin before the abdication of Emperor Wilhelm II in 1918. However, Cecilienhof Palace is best known for the Potsdam Conference held here on 17 July 1945, where Stalin, Truman and Attlee signed the division of Germany and the distribution of the defeated lands. The conference room has remained as it was and can be visited. The Cecilienhof Castle with its English cottage-like appearance will not fail to seduce you.

The visit of this castle is interesting, especially for those interested in the Potsdam conference, whose important documents are exposed. The other rooms are simple, welcoming and well-treated.
