Travemünde is the seaport of the Hanseatic city of Lübeck, located at the mouth of the Trave River, about 20 km northeast of Lübeck. It became a popular seaside resort in the 19th century and is now a holiday haven with a huge and beautiful beach. The most pleasant way to get there is undoubtedly by boat. From Travemünde, ferries leave constantly in the direction of Scandinavia, and, if the seaside city still has many charms, you should not be afraid of the crowd to go there in summer...
