The artisans of this village, located 25 km northwest of Yazd, specialized in clay pottery, offer high quality items. In the south-east of the city, ceramic workshops with blue and yellow facades follow. You'll only be embarrassed. Note the obvious preference of local artisans for the woman's sun-headed motif (khorchid-khnom). Take advantage of this to visit the beautiful castle of Narin-Ghaleh, very well preserved and occupied until the nineteenth century. Also a watchtower of the Qadjar era. Don't leave without having lunch (at low prices) in the city's old caravanserail, facing the citadel. Renovated in a restaurant and in a tea house, the building invites you to enjoy the art of living in the desert.
