Terrace at the foot of the Chateau Frontenac, overlooking the St. Lawrence River and extended by a long succession of stairs.
Located at the foot of Château Frontenac, it is a long and wide wind-swept terrace of boards overlooking the St. Lawrence River. At night, when the Castle is lit, the spectacle becomes magical. In winter, it is possible to toboggan at the Dufferin Terrace Slides. This terrace extends into the Promenade des Gouverneurs, a long succession of stairs along the citadel on the river side that leads to the Plains of Abraham (very beautiful views).

Une magnifique terrasse où il fait bon s’y attarder pour admirer le saint Laurent Dommage qu’il n’y avait pas trop de neige

Highly recommended walk between the citadel and the chateau fontenac (downhill or uphill in the opposite direction). The terrace is beautiful with The chateau on the background and The River Saint laurence'View. Artists and kiosks enrich The scene.
