In summer, the university offers tourist accommodation (superior rooms and studios available all year round) as well as several services including shared kitchens, laundries, wifi, etc. It is also possible to book a room for a long stay (32 nights or more). However, note that the university is far from the old town and you will have to take the bus each time. On the other hand, the long-distance bus terminus is only a few steps away.

Terrible terrible terrible. You are better off spending your money elsewhere. The sheets were old and dirty. The room was really small. Never again.

It's a low cost option in Quebec city so lower your expectations.

Stayed in Pavilion Ernest Lemieux.

Location is ok, very easy to take metrobus downtown. Young student crowd. Pool, soccer and pingpong tables downstair can create interesting meeting opportunity.

Feels like many Youth Hostels.

Zero amenities. Bunk beds. Coffee machine out of glasses. No food option nearby before 11am for breakfast.

Stayed here for two nights with my boyfriend on vacation. We were looking for a nice place to stay and didn't want to pay a fortune for a room. So the university is offering small rooms which is really close to hotels rooms and sometimes even better. You have full bathroom in any unit. Sometime it may be tiny but still it is quite good. University made it work out of small students' rooms. You may go use laundry machines if you need, you will have AC and TV in a room. Bed was pretty comfortable so I had a good rest after busy day. If I go to Quebec City again I will book a room on campus for sure.
