Montebello boasts a number of major attractions as part of its heritage, as well as numerous log buildings, starting with the must-see Fairmont Le Château Montebello hotel (well worth a visit, if only for the aperitif). As such, it declares itself the "log building capital of the world". The village is also famous for its rock, punk and metal music festival, the now-defunct Montebello Rock, which for years attracted thousands of festival-goers from the four corners of the globe, not to mention the incredible site dedicated to Quebec's nature, wildlife and history, the famous Parc Oméga.
