The Museum celebrates life in Montreal yesterday and today: its history, its people, its communities. Open to the city and the world, it presents stimulating exhibitions as well as educational and cultural activities that challenge people from here and elsewhere by taking a contemporary look at history. It houses one of the largest historical collections in North America with over 1.5 million artifacts, including costume, fashion and textile collections, photography, Aboriginal cultures, paintings, prints and drawings.

Opening time and information on MCCORD MUSEUM

Tuesday-Friday, 10am-6pm (9pm on Wednesday); Saturday-Sunday, 10am-5pm. Adult: $19 CAN Free on Wednesdays, from 5 p.m.
