The must-see event launches the festival season in the Quartier des spectacles square, which will not be empty all summer long.

It is THE big musical festival of the French-speaking world, presenting artists from Quebec of course, but also from France, Africa and elsewhere... All in all, a ten-day event filled with numerous musical shows, most of which are free and held outdoors. Of course, a great place is reserved for emerging artists and allows to make great discoveries. Implanted in the streets of the Quartier des spectacles, stands are provided to eat or have a drink inside the festival space.

Owner's Message

The Francos de Montréal proudly celebrate francophone music in all its forms through its vitality, quality and diversity. This event showcases French-language music, from hip-hop to electro, folk and pop. This summer kick-off event showcases francophone artists from here and abroad for 9 days in the heart of downtown Montreal. For the 33rd edition, come celebrate with us from June 10th to 18th, in French please!

Super festival !

Au top ce festival de musique francophone (du même type que celui de la Rochelle). Il y a des concerts gratuits très sympathiques, avec parfois des chanteurs français assez connus (qui ne le sont pas encore au Québec). Je recommande cet événement !

The perfect place to go to discover new artists music scenes quebec or French, possibilté to see free shows in the streets of downtown Montreal or for some artist to visit the show room. Very festive good atmosphere and guaranteed.
