Under new owners since 2021 and housed in a beautiful old-fashioned house in the heart of the village, this café-bistro is a true Tadoussac institution. Our suggestions: croque-matin or crepe with mushrooms and brie cheese in the morning; Nordic shrimp baguette or vegan poutine at lunchtime; roasted Arctic char fillet, seafood risotto or vegan gnocchi in the evening. Top it all off with one of our homemade desserts (try the Affogato or pastries), accompanied by an organic, fair-trade coffee.

Mireille and Jean-Sébastien's little restaurant is considered one of the best in Tadoussac, if not in the region. Local products are very popular, especially those from the North Shore, and everything is prepared with precision and creativity. The team works with many producers to supply themselves with northern fruits, wild mushrooms, sea or land products, etc. A beautiful gourmet address, sometimes accompanied by musicians. A well-known address, as it is one of the few establishments open all year round. The motel restaurant prepares a good family cuisine with seafood specialities (try the fisherman's plate), pasta, grills, pizzas and tutti quanti. In addition to the à la carte dishes, a daily menu is offered for lunch and a table d'hôte in the evening. For those who wake up late, no problem, breakfast brunch is available all day long!

Restaurant specializing in grilled meats and seafood flavored with Terroir Boréal. The salmon and duck breast smoked on site are succulent, not to mention the delicious fresh pasta and homemade sauces. We recommend the friendly plate of homemade products with, among others, smoked and dried salmon, maple smoked salmon, marinated and smoked duck breast, foie gras mousse with boreal flavours, marinated turbot, onion confit and regional cheeses. The smoked products and those of the house brand (Terroir Boréal) are sold on site.

A newcomer to the Tadoussac gourmet scene, Le Bar Rayé is housed in a charming ancestral home with a breathtaking view of the marina, bay and St. Lawrence River. The watchword in the kitchen: source locally to offer the best the Côte-Nord has to offer. And there's something for everyone on the slate, especially fish and seafood, the hallmarks of this maritime region. We sampled a lobster guédille with a house cocktail, followed by a succulent cheesecake with homemade camerise syrup. Top-notch!

The potato caravan is well known in Tadoussac - and even beyond - and is highly reputed for its fries, the know-how of which goes back several decades. All the great snack classics are on the menu, from the ultra-popular cheese burgers to the grilled cheese, not to mention the poutine, which comes in a dozen versions. But we repeat, you absolutely must try the fries, which are gladly accompanied by the house maple mayonnaise. A delight!
