Located just west of Deux-Montagnes, Saint-Eustache is home to a few gourmet attractions as well as a lavender field that must be visited during the flowering season. Vieux-Saint-Eustache, the site of a village established in the 18th century, is full of old buildings and pretty shops. This is also where the Patriots' Rebellion of 1837 took place. A visit to the Maison de la culture et du patrimoine, the gardens and the Maison Chénier-Sauvé, the Moulin Légaré and the Saint-Eustache church will help you understand the importance of its past. Various seasonal activities and special events are held in this heritage sector.
