This coastal village is nestled near a cove, in the hollow of a small valley, hence the origin of its name. For many, Petite-Vallée is THE cultural hub east of Quebec City, home to a veritable nursery of talent in French song, theater and the performing arts. The Festival en chanson and the Théâtre de la Vieille Forge play an important role in the "little valley's" summer reputation. Having been completely destroyed in a fire in the summer of 2017, the new theater will finally be inaugurated for the 2024 season. To do: a footpath (less than 1 km) leads to Mont Didier and its superb views.
