Starting point for the Gaspésie National Park and the Chic-Chocs wildlife reserve (Mont Jacques-Cartier sector), it is the capital of hang-gliding (an activity offered with Vue du Ciel). With its long cove encircled by steep mountains and its vast pebble beach, it's the ideal place to stop off, especially as the village has plenty of projects in the pipeline: redevelopment of the old inn into a tourist reception area with museum space and café-terrace, creation of a hang-gliding interpretation center in the village church and an observatory on the geomorphological phenomena of the Gaspé Peninsula at the top of the mountain, and so on.
