This municipality is the departure point for the ferry to Rivière-du-Loup, in the Lower St. Lawrence region. Just before Saint-Siméon, to the west, is Port-au-Persil, a charming little village that is well worth a visit. Its municipal wharf, completely renovated, is a perfect place to picnic on the banks of the river. A few steps away, its small wooden Presbyterian chapel, built in 1902, is just like on the postcards and you can't help but take pictures of it because of its magnificent setting. Take advantage of your stay in the area to visit the village's pottery workshop.
