Observatory of the Charlevoix astrobloom offering guided tours, discovery evenings and excursions.
The extravagant character of the mountainous landscapes of the Charlevoix region is due to the impact of a 130 billion ton meteorite. This impact, which occurred 400 million years ago, created a 54 km crater, from Baie-Saint-Paul to La Malbaie, which is inhabited today. This attraction offers guided tours of the observatory as well as evenings of discovery of the starry sky and excursions on geology.
