SKWACHÀYS LODGE

This beautiful boutique hotel immerses us in the world of British Columbia's First Nations. Situated in the city centre, Skwachàys Lodge offers 20 unique rooms decorated with native artwork. Opened in 2012, the hotel was a non-profit organization that housed homeless or needy Aboriginal people, thanks to donations. Dave, the creator of the business model, hired 6 Aboriginal artists each to create a theme and vision for 3 rooms per artist. A boutique of native creations on the ground floor.
