An artillery battery from the last century (1890) used to protect Victoria Harbour and a beautiful red and white lighthouse (1873) perched on a volcanic rock, classified as National Historic Sites. The tour, self-guided by numerous information panels, allows you to discover the command post, the soldiers' barracks and the ammunition reserves. The site is located between the Strait of Juan de Fuca and Esquimalt Harbour and is ideal for a picnic.
