This website is a goldmine for finding information on the 2,500 campsites in Banff National Park. Around the town of Banff, there are a few large state campsites with showers, toilets and water. Prices vary between $17 and $28 CAN depending on the location and comfort offered. Note that a $9.00 CAN fire permit must be added! Most campsites operate on a first come, first served basis.

Très déçus par les campings de BANFF. Nous avions loué un camping car "petit modèle" et les terrains ne sont pas du tout sympas. Il y a un bloc de douches pour tout le camping ... interdiction de laver son linge au bloc douches/lavabos...On voit que Parc Canada rentabilise au mieux l'espace. Très décevant, mais moins cher que les lodges. Le camping de LAKE LOUISE est le pire car le train Klaxonne toute la nuit et vous êtes au ras de la voie. A EVITER
