A seaside garden reserved for lovers, with a heart-shaped sculpture to seal their love by hanging a padlock

Deauville is definitely playing the romance and glamour card. In February 2012, on Valentine’s Day, the town inaugurated its Jardin des Cœurs, a seaside area reserved for lovers, featuring a heart-shaped sculpture by Antoine Arnoux, where couples can come and seal their love by hanging a padlock. Perhaps the aim was to rival the Pont des Arts in Paris, where for safety reasons the railings have been replaced by glass panels! Come and hang your padlock!
