Maybe it’s time to go eat, right? There, at the end of Courseulles, between the sea and the oyster basins, Manon, a blonde with blue eyes, awaits you, dressed in her blue apron! Blue like the furniture, dishes. Blue, like the boat moored at the foot of its pier with the blue logo. Blue, like the sky and the sea of Normandy on beautiful days. From one season to the next, the kitchen with family notes, traces of simplicity, changes flavours and colours, depending on the market, the mood of the chef, Karim, and his team. In the summer, you can sit at the tables for lunch on the edge of the Seulles under a blue parasol. On grey days, head towards the fireplace. The meal begins with the house cocktail, also blue, with champagne, curaçao, and peach liqueur, and continues with a seafood platter, for example, a fish ("the half-baked tuna of my father", a delight), a fish soup, fresh oysters from the waters of the neighbouring park that you can taste either raw or hot. For a little extra, let yourself be tempted by the grilled lobster (blue). Alternatively, opt for the fish and chips, the candied beef cheek, or simply the guts in Caen style. The desserts are succulent: choose the airy apple compote, Normandy laminated with salted butter, made by Karim himself.

Hélas précédemment des fumeurs avaient pris,leur apéritif, dans cet espace clos ; notre repas commençait plutôt mal.

We make a point to visit this establishment every year without fail. We wholeheartedly recommend it, with a satisfaction rate of 100%. The service is exemplary, the reception is impeccable, and the restrooms are consistently clean. Whether on the terrace or inside, the ambiance is pleasant, spacious, and bright, offering a beautiful view of nature. The dishes are flavorful, and a big congratulations is due to the chef and the kitchen team. We have never been disappointed; everything is simply delicious.
