One of the most important dance festivals in India, taking advantage of the exceptional setting of an emblematic monument in Mamallapuram.
This festival where all the dances of India (bharata-natyam, kathak, kathakali, kuchipudi) but also various artists such as singers, musicians, jugglers and others, takes place every year and lasts approximately three weeks. Each performance is enhanced by the performance of high quality musicians. The stage is located in front of the Arjuna Asceticism and gives a magical atmosphere to the shows. It is one of the most beautiful dance festivals in the country.

Tombés par hasard sur ce festival de danse, nous avons été surpris par la qualité des spectacles proposés. Chaque soir pendant un mois (de mi décembre à mi janvier environ), l'office de tourisme propose 2-3 spectacles : danse, chant, musique, théâtre inspiré du cirque... Un régal ! Et cela dans un superbe lieu et gratuit ! À ne pas rater
