Close to the lighthouse and Muppalam (the 3 bridges in Malayalam), 7 rooms are waiting for you in an old building entirely renovated. The Kerala architecture, with a lot of woodwork, is a big part of the charm of this house with spacious rooms. Some of them have a nice balcony. It is possible to have breakfast in the garden. Unfortunately, the proximity of the road sometimes makes the place a bit noisy. South Canal also offers houseboat cruises and rides along the backwaters. Bicycles available.

Nous avions réservé cette guesthouse car elle était renommée sur plusieurs sites mais au final notre avis est mitigé. Personne pour venir nous chercher alors que c'était prévu, nous avons dû prendre un tuk tuk après avoir attendu 20 mn...la guest house est agréable située pas loin de la plage mais à 4 km à pieds du centre, notre chambre familiale donnait sur la rue donc bruyante, le petit-déjeuner est très copieux seul point positif.
