The quiet village of Vagator is home to a few old Portuguese bungalows, B&Bs and not much else. To the north is Big Vagator Beach. To the south, the small Vagator beach (Ozran Beach), a 10-minute walk away, is equipped with several huts and is a favorite with budget travelers who spend a considerable amount of time in Goa. Accommodation in the village is limited to basic B&Bs. Between Vagator and Morjim lies the pleasant village of Siolim, along a cove. Built in 1717, the Vagator fort is now in ruins, but offers a magnificent panorama of the rugged coastline.
