Church located in Colombelles, built in 1926 as a place of worship for the Russian community

A beautiful architectural curiosity is the Saint-Serge Orthodox Church, whose beautiful bulb inevitably attracts the eye. A nice story also… In 1926, as a place of worship for the Russian community (in reality composed of Russians, Belarusians, Georgians, and Ukrainians) in Jumeaux from the early 1920s, St. Serge’s Church was severely damaged after the Second World War. Rebuilt after the war, it was reconsecrated in 1947. Today, with its restored bulb, it offers a beautiful show.
