A quintessential waterfront hotel facing the Gateway of India, popular with celebrities and heads of state
Located on the waterfront, this Victorian building faces the Gateway of India. Opened in 1903, it has been the favorite hotel of celebrities and heads of state for decades and is more than an institution, it is an iconic monument of the city. Rather than the new tower that dates back to 1972, prefer the old charm of the old building. Needless to say, excellence is the key word here, at every level: rooms, service, restaurants, spa... If you want to splurge, this is the place to be. Fabulous.

Hôtel de légende. Tout y est magnifique; chambres, restaurants, piscine, hall, boutiques... Superbe petit déjeuner buffet, personnel aux petits soins, emplacement idéal. Possibilité de réserver guides et taxis (de l'hôtel). Un véritable hôtel-musée. Certainement le plus bel hôtel de Bombay !

Hôtel iconique, de la chaîne Taj. Toujours aussi beau depuis sa construction en début du XX ème siècle. Les chambres de la "Old Wing" jouissent d'un charme exceptionnel. Celles - plus récentes - de la "Tower Wing" sont également très bien équipées et confortables. Si vous avez un "Sea View Room", n'hésitez pas à vous lever tôt afin de profiter du lever du soleil sur la "Gateway of India" et sur la baie en face remplie de petits bateaux de pêcheur très colorés. Nombreux restaurants. Situation exceptionnelle et service à la hauteur de la chaîne.
