Founded in 1932, Cafe Mondegar is one of the oldest coffee shops in the city. He was the first to own a jukebox in Bombay! There is still one in service, in a corner of the room, if you like. Since 1990, the walls have been decorated by the famous Gothic artist Mario Miranda. His drawings depicting scenes of life are famous throughout the country and you will not escape them if you stop by Goa. The place is friendly and you can eat there at any time of the day or night. Wide choice of snacks, dishes from all over the world. Two rooms: one is air-conditioned, the other is not. The city's youth and artists meet here to chat over coffee or beer.
Notice to amateurs: Bollywood agents recruit Western extras at the entrance of the café (negotiate your salary well because its agents charge a very high percentage of this daily remuneration).
