2 km east of McLeod. Bhagsu is a pretty village, whose serenity is somewhat disturbed by the construction of numerous guesthouses and restaurants. Many backpackers choose to stay here, as rates are lower than in McLeod Ganj. Numerous low-cost accommodation options are available. A good idea is to put your bags down at the German Bakery and choose one of the many guesthouses on the street going up. There's a (cold) spring that feeds a small swimming pool, not far from the Shiva temple. As you pass Bhagsu, you come to a number of pleasant waterfalls.
