The program includes Hatha Yoga, Pranayama, meditation, chanting, devotions, etc. There are no fixed fees; the ashram operates on a donation basis at the discretion of the disciples. Another Sivananda Ashram is located in southern Kerala. The disciples are subjected to a strict discipline that promotes concentration and self-development. Here you will also chant the famous Maha Mantra: Hare Rama hare Rama, Rama Rama hare hare, hare Krishna hare Krishna, Krishna Krishna hare hare.

This iconic and internationally famous ashram is ideally located on the banks of the Ganges. Vast, well kept, it reigns there a soft spiritual atmosphere. The discipline is obviously quite strict. The spiritual leader of this ashram is Guru Pujya Swami Chidanand Saraswatiji. The rooms available to the disciples are all clean but the size and comfort vary considerably depending on the category chosen. The most spectacular Ganga Aarti in Rishikesh is held along theghat of the Parmarth Niketan Ashram.
