With a rich breakfast buffet, Blue Sky Cafe (or Blue Sky Café, in French in the text), is the benchmark for the backpackers of Calcutta! A very good address for the morning and the breaks (lassi, eggs, desserts, fresh fruit juice, etc.). Indian cuisine, of course, but also Chinese, Thai, continental, pizza, burgers… And why not a fish masala for dinner, one of the best in the neighborhood. The staff were very friendly and helpful. This is where volunteer appointments of neighbouring associations, long-term travellers and tourists who have been landed. And then of course, free Wifi works wonderfully. Unavoidable.

Je connais le Blue Sky Cafe depuis plus de trente ans et pour moi, il reste toujours le meilleur endroit pour se restaurer en se régalant à des prix raisonnables. C'est aussi le lieu des rencontres pour les Européens et en particulier pour les Espagnols. Nous y allons en famille et les enfants apprécient ce petit restaurant à tout âge. Ils le préfèrent même aux "fast-food" quels qu' ils soient. La salle est toujours bondée mais l'on s'y sent bien.
