SWAMI ART

The city's greatest miniaturist specializing in plants and birds works here. Some of his floral designs have been selected for Unicef greeting cards, others have been used to illustrate American encyclopedias. The artists of Swami Arts combine tradition with original creations. They paint meticulously on handmade paper (rice paper or paper recovered from old books), camel leather and wood. The brushes used are made of squirrel hair and for some details, they can use single bristle brushes.
